How to Customize Your Wordpress Dashboard: 7 Steps

When you first start your Wordpress blog, there are some stock objects that come in the installation. If you aren't going to use it, however, there is no reason to have it there. This article will tell you how to customize your dashboard.
STEPS

GO INTO YOUR WORDPRESS BLOG AND LOG INTO THE ADMIN ACCOUNT. At the top left of your screen is your 'Dashboard'. Click on it.

CLICK ON THE SCREEN OPTIONS. This is at the upper right hand part of the screen.

DECIDE WHICH OPTIONS YOU WANT TO USE. What you have to choose from will depend on the plugins that are installed.

CHOOSE THE NUMBER OF COLUMNS THAT YOU WANT. You can choose from 1 -
4
columns.

CLOSE SCREEN OPTIONS. Once you have selected what you want, click on Screen Options and it will close back up.

CLOSE UNWANTED TABS ON YOUR SIDEBAR. If you aren't using a particular part of the sidebar, you can close it by clicking on the down arrow at the right of it.

USE THE \'SCREEN OPTIONS\' ELSEWHERE. Every section of the sidebar, like Plugins, Media, Post, etc. have the option to change what you see.
